It was cheap, clean and had a good bed For me the location was perfect
Convenient to Excel and Docklands. Very nice shower
Hotel undergoing major refurbishment. Beds very small and narrow (twin room)
The hotel was in good condition but it was infested with fleas. I had about 20 bites after staying there two nights (i.e. I wasn't quite sure what they were after the first night).
Stayed at the hotel because of location to family staying in the area, one problem only the bottom sheet was not fresh requested assistant to replace sheet and was promp with my request, nice staff
essily accessible from railway stations, convenient for city, room had excellent facilities
the food was way, way below standard, very cheap ingredients eg the sausages for breakfast were worse than you'd find on a seafront stall
Friendly helpful comfortable
No marmalade with breakfast but I must confess I did not ask
New hotel conversion, staff did make efforts to rectify things. Nice breakfast, english. Comfy bed. handy for the bus into the city.
No official laundry service. No alcohol yet as no licence. No smoking hotel. Shower water could be hotter!
Good value for money as a one night stop and location. Would stay again. Breakfast was good also.
Very nice recently refurbished room.
Inner city area, might be a bit daunting for some, wouldn't recommend to women on their own or families.
The staff were extremely friendly and the hotel location was good. The free Wi-Fi was helpfull.
The place/room was smaller than I've imagined but it's good if you think about the reasonable price. If I have to say something that I thought could be a little better: 1) Shower, which had little pressure. 2) Toiletries, that wasn't enough (I usually shower before going to bed and when I wake up).
I was like everything, the room wasreally excellent, the stuff, recepcion as well. Clean, very very good service, the breakfast was also really nice!
Close to Transport Links, Cheap Price, Room was large and Modern for this price in London.
Staff although good.. A bit cringe worthy.. Maybe trying to hard... You are shown to your room and shown round your room etc, Would expect that from the ritz or something but feels weird in a £50 a a night hotel.. Felt very awkward to me.. Just here is your key sir your room is on the 4th floor would be fine.. Also the room although modern was not the cleanest.. A decorative pillow on the bed was covered with hairs, The bed cover had a couple dirty marks on it. And in the bathroom the glass by the sink was not clean. Also got disturbed early next morning by the guests in the room next door loudly chatting away.. Ok not the fault of the hotel but may suggest the walls are not that thick..
very conveniently located near DLR. Staff was helpful.
the room facing the road is very noisy. the staff managed to change my room to the other side facing the yard after 2 nights though, so that the rest of my stay was OK.
Everything was brand new, the 2 gents at the recepion were lovely and friendly.
I went with my friend and were a bit worried about the road that leads from the station to the hotel as its very dark!!
The personnel was quite friendly and respectful. The rooms are newly furnished and definitely look nice. The breakfast was better than I expected. There's English Breakfast included and they have a nice cheese collection.
The reception and lobby is a bit small, it gives a hostel impression. The location of the hotel is fine but not very central I would say. It takes you like 30mins to get to the center.
